Denise is passionate about her role as an educator and feels privileged to mentor a diverse group of young cellists and instrumentalists at the University of Illinois School of Music at Urbana-Champaign. Denise regularly gives masterclasses and serves as a guest teacher/faculty member at summer institutes across North America.
